Good Design Does Not Have to Cost a Lot

Learning Landscapes is coming up on it’s one year anniversary. We have done some wonderful work this year! One thing we struggle with is offering design services to everyone. The balance between charging enough for design services and being affordable is a delicate one. So, we are launching our “Good Design Does Not Have to Cost a Lot” Campaign.

“Good Design Does Not Have to Cost a Lot” Campaign

We are offering 5 schools, non profits, or early childhood centers the chance to have good design at an affordable price. If you don’t exactly fit into one of those categories, but you need good design work, write is a note anyway. We are offering the following services as a package at a reduced rate to get your project going.

– Two Hour On-Site Design Workshop: Learning Landscapes staff will run a workshop at your site focusing on; meeting your interested team members, getting to know the site, hearing about the site issues, hearing the vision of the project, reviewing imagery examples and formulating a concept vision for the project.

– 30 minute Kids Workshop: Learning Landscapes and one of your staff that work with children will work together to design an appropriate activity for kids to be involved in the visioning and design of the space.

– Follow Up Work: At the workshop we will decide on 5 hours of follow up work that needs to be done. This could include developing a grant list, drawing up a concept plan, or supplying you with a list of materials sources and specification ideas. We know you will want all of this and more! But, we will work together to trim it down to the most needed elements.

Total Cost = $600

This design work should get you started on your path to developing an inspiring kids landscape at your site. Maybe it is the first step in getting you going on that big grant application you want to win. Or it is enough to get your parent community excited about building an element this spring. Or we can put together a package to get your board excited about your vision. What is your idea? How can we help you get there? We are willing to work with out of town organizations with the addition of a travel reimbursement. Please contact us for more details. michelle at learninglandscapesdesign dot com
